Postby OSD » Fri Jun 15, 2007 7:24 pm

Marinated some chicken thighs to throw on the grill and made a small pot of red beans and rice to go with them. :D :D

Marinated and sprinkled with some grilling spice

Hot and ready--had a hard time taking the pic because of the steam

Jim, I just new you had to have cornbread there somewhere. Now that wasn't crackling cornbread was it? And I don't suppose the cornbread was cooked in a nice Chile pepper pan, was it. Fine meal.CF

After a meal like that you will need a pretty good nap. Looks GREAT!!! I am praying it will not rain tomorrow. I just can not wait to get the pit fired up and going so I can attempt to have a meal like that.

CF, it was cracking cornbread, but I did it in a cast iron frying pan and there was lots of butter. :D I didn't use the chili pan this time. :D :D
