Gonna grill up a bunch of marinated chicken thighs and cook some red beans & rice to go with them for tonight. :D I'm thinking some thick pork chops with grilled pineapple slices and grilled green beans for Sun. :D :D

Some beef ribs and pork loin roast on Roma right now. Baked beans in the crockpot. Real estate stuff on Sat/Sun.

Well, tonight I grilled some salmon fillets and hot dogs. The fish was seasoned with lemon, basil, parsley, garlic, onion, and a touch of S&P. The dogs (for the kids and FIL) were actually slashed on an angle and marinated in wooster, garlic, onion, and S&P.

Sides were an artichoke dip, beans, and potato salad.

Everything came out good, although I was running about 45 minutes late. The kids' had VBS this week, and tonight was the closing carnival. We got there 30 minutes late, but they still played for over 90 minutes. The theme for this VBS was cowboy, "A Wild Ride Through God's Word." For the carnival, they actually brought in a longhorn. Only in Texas!

Hey Rob... Next time them kiddos want to see some longhorn, hollar at me. We have several at work in the pasture behind the pressroom. My boss is the "ranch hand" that tends to the stupid cows that all of us employees hate.

But, if they want to visit them, let me know and you can meet me there sometime.

Sounds like they had fun at the carnival!
