Flat iron time again

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Apr 18, 2021 8:02 pm

Been too long since we had done a flat iron and we just happen to have a few in the freezer. Seasoned this one with SPG and then hit it with another layer of course ground pepper right before it went on. Used mesquite lump for added flavor. Tasted great but unfortunately I slightly overshot my done temp…the wife was happy

Sides were a leftover pasta salad from a neighborhood get together we had yesterday. Corn seasoned with Meat Church Holy Voodoo and Okra with Sucklebusters lemon pepper garlic.

Good meal for sure!

She said it’s called a deviled egg pasta salad or something like that. It’s a good one though

Is that tuna pasta salad an Iowa thing? Mother in law makes one of those and it’s really good.
