But ohhhh those peppers

Postby bsooner75 » Sun Jun 23, 2019 7:03 pm

Did a sous vide grill combo on some chicken breast seasoned with Sucklebusters chicken seasoning which was good as always. BUT the roasted Shishito peppers seasoned with SPG stole the show. We snacked on some at Superior Bathhouse Brewery in Hot Springs and couldn’t wait to make them at home.

Very good. Mostly a sweet pepper but one in every 10 - 20 packs a small punch. I looked it up and apparently this is a trait. They roast really well and make a great snack with a little ranch to dip them in.

We spotted some of these when buying seedlings, but went with sweet banana instead.

Ah well...next year!

When I lived to where I could have a garden, I really like growing the Anaheim Peppers and of course Jalapenos

Those peppers look great! I am not familiar with those, where can you get them and what is there heat level?
