Tonight at our local working men's club. We have a few in our city. After seeing all the pics of your burgers I ordered a beef burger with fries. Comes with worst ever sauce. Great burger, an egg would have really topped it off.

I had to google it also.
Working men's clubs are a type of private social club first created in the 19th century in industrialised areas of the United Kingdom, particularly the North of England, the Midlands, Scotland and many parts of the South Wales Valleys, to provide recreation and education for working class men and their families. They also began at this time in Australia, with a small number in Ireland, primarily Dublin

Re: Went out to dinner....
Spose I should have explained about working men's clubs. I grew up in a poor area where everyone were labourers etc. the biggest club here is the Hornby working men's club, it's big. It started by an old guy who died and left a block of land to the people of Hornby. The club grew from there. It's a huge employer and landowner now. The club give away lots of money in grants every year. I grew up in Hornby, played rugby and league for them as well. A jug of beer costs about $15 per litre. Working men's clubs around $10. As a bonus my wife won $100 on the pokies as well. We are members of the cashmere working men's club but this entitles us to go to other clubs.
