the most Delicious bbq in the world (the moroccan bbq)



Ingredients:

cut lamb meat cubed
Black Pepper + cumin + paprika + salt


the method:

Keep the meat in the pot, then add spices


Mix well and then let it soaked for an hour


then We begin to fill the bars and grille it over charcoal


Important note:

We have a restaurant up here in NEPA that is owned by a guy named Hasan.
He is from Morocco and is well known by everyone in the area of being one of the best chefs around.
He puts on his ( Moroccan Feast ) once a year that is said to be a 8 or 10 course smorgasbord but we have yet to give it a try.
Hopefully we can, we've heard that is a meal for a king !
We go to his restaurant a few times a year and it's always been excellent. As the owner, he pretty much LIVES there. Always in and out of the kitchen, dining area, and bar constantly talking with his patrons asking how everything is.
If we don't see him, he sees us and makes a point to come over for a critique of our dinner...

He's a true Moroccan chef that has a passion for great food, so I'm sure this bbq style can hold its own, it sounds very good.

Hmmmmm, you kinda put me on the spot here, Parnah, but let me say this first - - - that red meat K-Bob (aka on a stick) seasoned with those spices and then grilled over charcoal can't help but be "Larapin" HOWEVER, in Texas there is no such thing as "the most Delicious bbq in the world" and the reason is there are hunnerts (hundreds) of awesome ways to grill meat over wood/charcoal/etc and the members on this Forum prove that almost every day. Come to think of it some of them are actually "the most Delicious bbq in the world" ?according to the feller (person) with the fork (oops tongs/gloves) I sure would have liked to seen the final product but good Q don't stay around long does it ?

Hello Conan, Thanks for the step by step recipe and photos. That really looks good, I've never had BBQ'D lamb.
I might just have to give this a try. I do love grilling k-bobs and there's so many different ways and flavors in which to do them.

Sure looks good from Texas, copied the recipe and the how to. Will be trying your cook. May use goat instead of lamb. Not much lamb where i live. Thanks for the photos to. Very good. CF
