Dan,

Any plans on having a summer or better yet a fall get together in Tejas? We could all cook at some designated place and hit some of those famous Texas BBQ places I've been hearing about like Smitty's and Kreuz Market?

What do you think?

That sound like a good idea to me. There are lost of BBQ competitons all year long, maybe we could pick one.

So how do you guys find out about all the BBQ competitions going on? Is there a sight that has them...or better yet, maybe we can get a section here for the competition locations?

The IBCA sanctions a lot of events in Texas.

There is also the KCBS www.kcbs.us is the website I believe

There are a few other sanctioning bodies as well.
