Looking for a rub for a dry St. Louis rib I've got
I figured I'd ask since I'm sure someone here has done it. I was trying to go head to head with two St. Louis cut ribs. One with and one without sauce. I'd like to try a dry rub on them but haven't done one before I don't think. Anybody have a recipe for it I could use? Planning on doing it Tuesday since I'm at the station until Thursday morning.

I have never made my own Rub but I do love Memphis Style Dry Ribs and they have a Brown Sugar Base that is really good.
Suckle Busters has a Rub called "Sugar Daddy" that I use on my Dry Ribs. If I were to try and mix my own I would just practice
with Brown Sugar, Paprika (sp), Salt and Coarse ground Black Pepper until I got a satisfactory flavor. Good Luck

I made a Memphis rub and another which I'll add sauce to. Only issue was no garlic powder found in this small town. I had to make my garlic powder.

Well it is tough to get the meat ready at a right time I guess. Ribs smoked faster than I would have thought and had to run a call during the end of it. Smoked Mac and cheese with bacon and ribs.

Excellent. Each flavor was different. No one at the table spoke at all. Two went for seconds while others were still eating them slowly then one by one they said...oh I ate too much. That's when I smiled and laughed.
