Super Bowl Cook getting started

Postby bsooner75 » Sat Feb 12, 2022 7:34 pm

Kicked it off early today by throwing some beef cheek and chuck roast on the smoker. They’ll get some smoke and then tomorrow I’ll finish in the crock pot to make barbacoa. Cheeks are off and the chucks will come off soon.

Awesome. I'll immediately book a flight. Should be able to make it over before dinner.

Barbacoa is in crock pots doing it’s thing and the belly is trimmed and seasoned. About to fire up for round two.

Neighbors kicked in some really good dishes too. One of the ladies in the neighborhood made those footballs. They had bourbon cream in them and were fantastic

Nice looking spread. I did pretty good myself. Found a beer joint in Houma that had a pot luck deal going. And they had a bunch of pools. I won a 100.00 and a 250.00.
