Beef ribs. Best way to do them?

Postby Copasspupil » Fri Oct 01, 2021 12:14 pm

I picked up two slabs of them. Flat bones in case you were wondering. I thought typical SPG spritzing.

I’m on board with your thinking. Keep it simple and let the meat speak for itself.

5 hrs in and it passed the toothpick test. No thermometer here so that's what I have to go by. Hope it's close.

Very rich, full body flavor but I didn't expect to be full after 1 though honestly I ate a second one.

Best part now I'll use the leftover to make French onion soup and watch some games today.

Looks great, curious about the French onion soup, wife loves it but no meat in it here that we have had, maybe broth?

I had a total of eight singular ribs left. There is enough for the soup and it was super rich. Good flavor but not terribly filled with meat but enough.
