Brown cheese and waffles, Brisket and Ribs.
As some may have read I jacked up my knee and my Good Friend and neighbor Bubba has been taking care of my yard So my wife and I cooked up a brisket and ribs for them.
But Oh Wait!!! My wife Debbie cooked up some awesome homemade buttermilk waffles so I could see how Norway enjoys this Brown Cheese.
I gotta say It was great but I do prefer my Steen's Cane syrup on waffles. For me The brown cheese taste awesome on hot french bread toast that is my favorite.
My waffles with brown cheese and strawberry jam and a couple slices of pork sausage.
The brisket on Little Mama getting a pecan and white oak smoke bath.
The brisket after resting and sliced.
The ribs all sliced up.
I am really enjoying the brown cheese Joe. Thank you again Sir!

Fantastic looking brisket and ribs. They pop out of my screen.
I'd eat those waffles too. With brown cheese, but we can put brown cheese on everything. Brown cheese on a hot French toast is one of my favorites too. Enjoy the rest of the cheese. Glad you liked it.
Hope your knee heals fast.

Looks like Debbie did a great job on that breakfast! My dad always put either cane syrup (usually Steen's brand) or sorghum molasses on his pancakes & waffles. It's a bit too robust for me straight but if I make around a 50/50 blend with honest pure maple syrup the whole is better than the sum of its parts IMO.
Good job on that brisket & ribs too!

Thank you Rorschach.
Yep born and raised in Louisiana I am very partial to my Steen's syrup. Being from Wisconsin Debbie prefers real Maple syrup. I order her syrup from a mom and pop business in Bedford NH.

Man, that looks good! That inspired me to fire up the steel pig this weekend.
