Time For Ribs

Postby Smoking Piney » Fri Sep 18, 2020 3:56 pm

It's a nice cool day here in NJ, and time to smoke some ribs. :D

Rubbed in SB Hog Waller and cooked unwrapped at 275 for 3 and a half hours with a healthy load of hickory chunks. Sauced and cooked another half hour longer:

They were on time! :D

Thanks!

I was really wanting some ribs, but I didn't want to put up with the heat to cook them. Until the last week or two here, it was hot as Hades, and I wasn't into getting outside to sweat my pants off.

The time was right and this batch rubbed the itch. :D

I think most of the country got a cool down.
We were mid to upper 90's from first of June.
The a big drop to low fifties, and slowly working it's way back up.
A balmy 78 today.
