I found this on the internet about pikes peak roasts

Pikes Peak Roast

Also called heel of round, the Pikes Peak roast is cut from low in the round, just above the hock. It contains many small muscles and lots of connective tissue. This is the least tender of the round roasts, but cooks up into a pot roast with excellent flavor.

It wasn't tough, but it's supposed to be tough cut. It that was tough I really want to do a different one. It was good not tough but not fall apart tender. I need to go to the ranch and dig through the freezer.
