Best BBQ in Houston?
Hey guys,
Hello from Canada. My brothers and I are coming down in two weeks to see your Texans play in the Wildcard, and we would love to try some of the best BBQ Houston has to offer. We're staying by the stadium, but we're open to any awesome place across the city, regardless of location. We're also open to all price points and levels of decor, we just want to eat some good food. If there are any other standout restaurants that we should check out, we'd be open to that as well.

Killen's (https://www.killensbarbecue.com/)is always on the list. If you're up for venturing west, my two favorites are Brett's BBQ in Katy (Interstate 10 west at Mason Road) (https://www.brettsbbqshop.com/) and Witt Pit in Rosenberg (Highway 59 and Highway 36, roughly)(https://www.wittpitbbq.com/).
Outside of the BBQ meat:
If you go to Brett's, definitely try their Krispy Kreme bread pudding.
If you go to Witt PIt, they call it "Crack Mac" for a reason.

Killens in Pearland for beef ribs.
My go to spot in the Houston area is Atascocita Tin Roof BBQ. I have never had a bad meal there. Ask for the owner Brek Webber and tell him Kevin sent you.

That would make more sense. I couldn't see why anyone would spend that kinda cash to watch the Houston Texans ruin the sport of football.

I recommend downloading the Texas Monthly BBQ Finder app. It will show you all of the good BBQ spots near you, and red dots will tell you which ones made the Top 50 in the state (I'd stick to those). It's free, I think.

Lots of good spots. Not in any particular order are ones I've enjoyed:
Rudy's
Ray's BBQ Shack
Triple J's
Pinkerton's
I've heard Spring Creek and Hickory Hollow are good, but I haven't eaten there yet.
