Sold my Pitts and Spitts and the Smoke Shack!!
Paid for the shipping and the turf tires on the new lang. Could have gotten more for both but I'm a get rid of it kinda guy.
First smoke will be a CAB flat as a test run.
Cant wait to try my first reverse flow!!!

The Wife has been harping on me for a pork butt so I guess I'll have to oblige.
Kinda hated to get rid of the Pitts and Spitts after 20 plus years as it holds a lot of memories but it was too darn big for my current needs.

Supposed to be here tomorrow evening(Sat),I'll burn it in on Sunday and get ready for Friday! Man it's going to be nice not to have a cooker that will smoke 16 briskets!!!
Heating up the old Pitts and Spitts was just to much of a hassle for the Wife and a few buddies.

+1 on Shirley - when I was pit shopping I made the drive to a guy who owned ones house in the hill country to see for myself and was thoroughly impressed. Our life changed directions shortly after that and I had to switch up my pit needs pretty quick. Thing was built like a tank.

Shirley looks fantastic, too bad the prices start at $1975.
So the question remains, who makes a better smoker for the same money as the Lang, which start at $1295 for the 36.
