Always used stick burners and always seasoned my smokers
Bought a LG1100 and was curious, do you spray it all down with an olive oil to season?

Re: First Pellet Smoker
My Camp Chef DLX24 instructions said to run one heat cycle on it after cleaning the cook grate with soap and water and it's good to go.

Re: First Pellet Smoker
Yeah I have always oiled my new smokers with vegetable oil to season........ I believe it helps.
That includes 4 different pellet cookers over the past 20 years and they all still work.
