Crock Pot ABT's?
I know I got Parts attention on that one
Question for the ABT experts on the forum. We are having a potluck at work. They are providing the brisket and asking us to bring sides. I was thinking about making ABT's but having some logistics issues.
The potluck is on a Tuesday. If I cooked the ABT's ahead (Sunday or Monday) on my Weber, how well do you think they would hold up if they reheated in a crock pot / slow cooker at work on Tuesday?
If you think the ABT's are a bad plan, any suggestions? Thanks!

May the Slow Cooker Gods shine upon you !
I've used it for stuffed peppers and it worked out well. I would guess Turds would work well to but just my 2 cents.

The bacon won't stay crisp BUT the flavor will blow 'em away.... I doubt there'll be any leftover. Let us know how it turns out.

That crock pot idea will work. We have also heated ours in an aluminum pan with foil covering. Then wrapped in a towel placed in ice chest and drove 2 hours. When we arrived they were still warm and were devoured. So I guess that worked. too. Good luck Sooner. Merry Christmas

Re: Crock Pot ABT's?
Thanks all! I figure I can plug the crockpot in by my desk and smell them all morning while I work :) Bobcat has a good idea too but that would require me waking up earlier…
I’ll report back after the party. It’s like second week of Jan.
Merry Christmas!

Oh My.... That's to far off andI wouldn't chance it. I strongly suggest a practice run and you should still have my address.

Re: Crock Pot ABT's?
yes
you have the time, do the practice run, exactly as you would for the party, that way you will know exactly what your food will be like before you serve it.
just my $.02 worth...
