This Christmas is going to be very wide spread and different, to say the least. I think this is probably the first time in many years that I haven't Beer Canned a Gobbler for Christmas Dinner ?somewhere?

As I have mentioned before, my oldest Son and his Wife are having an Italian Themed Christmas Dinner but due to some last minute developments we found out that we weren't gonna be able to attend after all.

However, that did not stop me from fixing them some Zuppa Tuscana Soup to enjoy with all the other Italian Dishes they will have there. They are coming by the house after Church to pick up the Soup and we will also exchange gifts at that time.

Monday I'll do some grilled stuffed bacon topped Jalapenos to take to my youngest Son's for Christmas "EVE" Dinner and then the Wiffy's Bunch will be coming here for some Ham and ETC on Christmas Day. Whew, I'm already tired. :whiteflag:

Thanks, Friend, it's one of our favorites and the Wiffy made me promise to make her some as soon as we get finished with Christmas.
Oddly enuff, we went to Olive Garden to eat on route to H.E.B. and both of us had Zuppa Tuscana and a Salad. We both admitted that
their's wasn't as good as my homemade but I owe that to a former Olive Garden Chef that showed me the right, not cheapest, was to make it. :salut:

Justin, I go to Sam's and buy the good tenderloin steaks
i cook them on the OldSmokey with hickory chunks thrown into the coals
I like my steaks RARE! but others don't..
I don't have to play the game about how i'm going to cook an $80~$100 tenderloin
i just cook their steak to the way they like it! ;)

you can save a few buck if you buy the whole tenderloin and cut your own steaks
then cook them to order

This is what the Jalapenos will look like.

Late to the party (so what’s new). We’re throwing a change up this year, scratchmade stacked red Hatch Chile enchiladas w sidecar tamales and fresh mild Chiles Colorado Sauce over all, and listening to not-quite-traditional-enough Christmas carols like Viva Del Santo (Claus) by perhaps the greatest white trash band in the history of the entire unyverse, Southern Culture On The Skids, ay yi yi!

I was looking forward to a few mince pies but now i'm laid up with a mountain of tissues as I'm treated for Pneumonia. I strongly believe that getting vaccinated against the flu is really very important as it can help us prevent many serious illnesses. Guys, please send me some healthy and positive vibes and I'm updating some good information on how pneumonia can be treated https://www.everydayhealth.com/pneumonia/guide/. Hope I'll feel better soon and enjoy some good recipes that are being shared here :D
