Hanging a whole chicken in the UDS

Postby Fooldancing » Fri Jun 29, 2018 10:23 pm

I am planning on smoking a whole chicken tomorrow. I was hoping to hang it instead of spatchcocking it. Is there anything that I should know before hand? I'll be putting a rub all over it.

Only thing I'd offer is to figger out how to put a beverage can in it's posterior place, or inject or Brine prior to hanging.  :chef:

Good Deal, whoever invented that idea/process brought an entirely new result to the BBQd Bird - - - I also use that technique on my Holiday Gobblers and it's always a Family Pleaser
