Smoking a pig?

Postby RUBYRW » Mon May 14, 2018 12:39 pm

Never smoked one...not even sure on their size.
So my question is, can a pig worth smoking, fit on an Oklahoma Joe offset?

Thanks

Heck, Rec Tec claims people have smoked ones on a 680 like mine, so I imagine it's possible on your smoker also. Just check measurements on the smoker and the oinker.

BTW, no such thing as pork not work smoking... or beef, poultry, etc...

I think you probably need to get out the tape measure and make some phone calls to the Suppliers for approx sizes :dont:

Yuppers. I've fit whole hogs on my Highland up to 40lbs and half hogs up to 60. The larger ones needed to be quartered, but they get treated as such when they're done anyways. Lol
