Pulled beef

Postby egghead » Thu Apr 26, 2018 6:05 pm

Three chuckies rubbed with S/B SPG draped with bacon in the smoke at 250 until they reached 160. Into an aluminum pan with the bacon on the bottom. 1/3 cup maple syrup and 2/3 cup water mixed and poured over the chuckies and covered with foil. Back on the egg at 250 for a couple more hours. Removed from egg and pulled, discarding bacon, and any fat or gristle. Back on the egg with about a cup of S/B Sweet and Tangy sauce, hickory for smoke another hour. Mighty fine eats.

The chuckies look awesome EH. They are becoming some of our favorites. Cool up several at once then vac seal. Makes for easy tacos during the week.
