IMHO the Pioneer Pit Masters that brought "Q" to where it is today really improved the overall taste, tenderness and moisture of the final product BUT it sure takes longer to burn a chicken these days than it did back when

The barbecue and Jetton were cool. But as my dear old dad said about LBJ:
“Give that guy a free hand, and he’ll stick it in yer pocket.”

Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
