Cooking lunch for our crew

Postby bondobill » Fri Dec 01, 2017 12:32 pm

Our shop crew worked overtime last night for free on our entry to this weekends Christmas lighted parade
Usually the last Friday of the month...I know it Dec now....we get pizza for everybody. Well they got pizza and beer last night so today this old man is smoking them up some lunch.

Pulled pork, chicken and beans

Great excuse for not going to work this morning :laughing7:

You need someone to sweep up and clean the restrooms :?: I could bring a cot and just sleep in the shop at nights. :dont: :salut:

I guess lunch went over rather good with the crew. :D
They want me to do lunch every Friday.
I negotiated that down to the last Friday of every month, unless I be fishing.

My son finally found a good paint prepper to take over my duties at the shop, so although I'm not officially retired yet, I can come and go as I want. :D

Hey Em...we be looking for a good detailer if your interested

Thanks all

I'll tell ya, Wild Bill, fifteen (eh?) years ago that would be tempting but I have evolved to only using the more simple tools such as the ones with wooden handles and have no moving parts. :laughing7:

Got a few grummy photos of our float for the lighted parade. :(
Photos my daughter took are all sideways. :

Here's a shot of it without the lights on.

My son picked up this MonteCarlo SS on Craigslist dirt cheap .
Car didn't have a dent in it. We had to help it out in that department.

Bill,

A few things first..

First, that Grubb looks awesome !

Secondly, your shop ( I mean airplane hanger ) looks incredible !! Lol.

Umm..., Please don't tell me the Monte got the beauty marks just for Christmas :(:( ,,?

Lastly, I almost fell on the floor when I saw the pic of you with ur hat on crooked like that !!
LMAO, all u needed was a can of spray paint and start ( taggin )...

Great pics man :)

Thanks Em and WV :D
Em....Yes that's me.

WV.....we had to sacrifice the hood. We picked up another hood for the car to destroy, but it was in better shape paint wise then the one on the car. Bumper and headlights where removed to make it appear crashed.
Engine got a real bad knock...quessing a rod. The interior is like brand new.
We are toying with giving the car new paint, finding another 3.8 to replace the engine and maybe put a turbocharger on it.
My son thought then we could do a free raffle at our Regrand opening next Spring and give the car to the winner. Just some thoughts :dont: the car is really in too nice of shape to junk it.
Oh yeah....the Christmas tree is now in my living room :laughing7:

Dig the theme. All it needed were some reindeer hooves sticking out from the underside... LOL
