thanks, Wild Bill, I had no idea they had the mixed pellets so I'm thinking that I could mix what I have ?if needed? :dont: I do have some Hickory that needs using and a lot of fresh Apple plus some Mesquite - - - hmmmmmmm thanks again :tup:

Looks like it all turned out great! I have also noticed lately that pork butts are taking longer than briskets at the same temps. I don't use any probes though, so I can't tell what the internal temps are doing, but they are taking anywhere from 1 to 3 hours longer than my usual 15 lb packers.. Odd..

The NE wind came up right after I took the picture of that tree. 3 hours later weren't but a hand full of leaves on it.

I ain't done butts for probably better then a year. I've done 11 lb butts in less time then it took to do these little 5 pounders :dont:
