$170.00 delivered and stacked for oak. This was last February, so it's probably a little cheaper now.

175 here, stacked and delivered, last week. Down from 190 without delivery and stacking at this time last year.

There is no such thing as a face cord. It's only a marketing plow to cheat the purchaser. You can still buy shorter wood for your needs but a cord is 128 cubic feet! So if wood is shorter the stack has to be higher to get the 128 cubic feet. Convert the "face cord" prices to a full cord price and you can see what you are really paying for wood. :dont:

Mine was a half cord. roughly 2' wide (may be 18" one split), 4' tall and 8' long.

Yes, and from a gentleman named Ira who lives out Wallis way. He sources from the hill country.

Given that you're in Cypress, I would expect delivery and stacking to cost more. I'm on his side of town.

I havent put fire to it yet vut on all appearances it seems to be good. No wetter than what ive bought from others, as dry as some. I like to let it age for a while after i buy it, so i wont use it for a few months at least.

I agree, I like to buy mine a little on the greener side and let it age to what I like. Care to share the contact info?
