Thank you! I'm diggin' it so far. We'll see how it does with brisket before I make my final decision. My prediction is that I will have one of the juiciest briskets to go in my books. The way this thing rendered the fat in the spares I cooked a few days ago was astounding. In fact, I hadn't seen that kind of result from my stick burner.

I would like to try smoking a whole hog someday.....never done that.
That little guy looks to be the perfect size to start with for a rookie like me.

Looks to me like that electric smoker did that hog justice .
Job well done TX :salut: :chef:

Muchas gracias, sir! I wanted to save one specifically for a whole cook but got carried away initially processing them (I had 5 and it was already midnight by the time I had dispatched them and skinned/gutted.) I then put them in a tub full of water to let them soak the rest of the night. Lol.

Anywho.. find one about the 40 lb range. Good start there!

the "only time" I wish I'd gotten the 820 Pit Boss Pellet instead of the 340 is when whole hawg cooking comes to mind - - - however, there's a possibility that ?one day? I may get the urge to find one that will fit and try my hand at one. :salut:

Will it fit a whole shoulder? There are some butcher shops that will have (or get you) the WHOLE shoulder.. Shank, picnic, butt.. The whole thing. That would be a great cook!
