This is my pork loin, that I smoked yersterday.Had the butcher butterflied the loin.I stuffed it with sautaed mushrooms, onions, garlic & sprinach leaves.I tied it up,put on smoker using apple wood chunks for smoke.Pulled it off when it hit 140.

After resting in the cooler for several hrs,it was time to slice the loin & eat.I roasted 6 heads of garlic on the CG,added them to 5lbs of mashed potatoes along with some Italian parsley.I also put some corn on the grill,& asparagus wrapped in bacon.

My grandson Brett,enjoying his corn.

What's dinner without desert, right?.Right :) If you haven't smoked a cake, you have to try it.I don't get much of a smoke taste, but there is something really different.I like it better than one baked in the oven.Everyone was stuffed from dinner,to eat cake. But I had a piece later[

This is for all you fatty lovers.Turkey breakfast sausage. Now don't turn up your nose  I smoked four of them. Some were stuffed with jalepeone peppers, shrooms, two kinds of cheese, onions & bell peppers.Put bannana peppers in one,rub of your choice. You got to smoke these.

Go ahead, have a taste.Come on,you know that you want to

Well this was a fun cook,& had the kids over to enjoy the food.It was to cool for swimming in the pool. But we did eat outside, while the sun was setting.

Looks great. I see mention of turkey fattys in the title. What did you use, turkey sausage or what? Was it moist?

I have never done the sausage thing, although it is one of my favorite meats. So you have convinced me I gotta do it. Good looking meal. Cake sounds interesting. CF

Awesome Bill! I smoked my first fattie Sunday! It was literally gone in 15 minutes! Turkey would be fantastic as regular sausage bothers my stomach. I think I have my whole family hooked!
Great job, you are an awesome cook!

Looks great, Bill! I may have to try that turkey fattie. Maybe I can sneak it by the dieters.
