Easy Salsa

Postby madmax52 » Mon Oct 12, 2009 1:54 pm

I figured I'd try and contribute a little to the forum. This is an easy and quick salsa to make.
2 cans Rotel diced tomatoes n green chillis. Sometimes I'll get a can of Mexican Fiesta or Extra Hot and mix in there.
1/3 can of Hunt's Tomato sauce (not paste..lol doesn't work quite right)
Add garlic, pepper and salt to taste.

I prefer to keep it chunky but the Mrs. likes it in a puree style. Tastes the same, just a different texture.
It's simple and makes in under 5 minutes. Good for last minute guest entertainment, as we keep most of the fixins in the cabinet anyways.

Thanks Mad! Now you need to get you some Sucklebusters salsa, mighty good stuff that will rival any of the competitors out there. I may be a bit biased but its bettter than the competition IMHO.
