This is the recipe for the hot BBQ sauce that teh Cream Castle in Arkansas . I dont really like it but my gfs family (the ones I got the recipe from) Love it. Warning VERRRRYYYYY Hot !!
Squeeze the lemons in the pan then put lemons in pan. Add whole garlic, and whole onion. Add teh rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove whole lemons, onion, and garlic.
1 quart white vinegar
3 whole lemons
1 1/2 cup ketsup
1/2 cup cayanne (I only use 1/4 cup)
1 whole garlic
1 whole medium onion
1/2 Tbls salt
Did I mention this stuff is HOT !!

Some of my other recipes are problly pretty basic too.
No no... Don't take that the wrong way... basic is good! Nothing wrong with that at all... Just meant that when I read through the recipe and tasted it with my brain (ok, what is left of it...) it brought images of those two 'basic' sauces.
I was serious when I said I wanted to try it!
I use a very similar recipe/method to put over pulled pork, but not nearly as much red pepper.
