My Go To Brine

Postby Mitchtram » Fri Aug 24, 2018 9:51 am

Hey Everyone,

Thought I would post up my go to chicken brine. It's super simple and I get tons of complements on it.

This is the recipe I use to brine 4 chicken breasts, you can double or triple as needed if you need more liquid.

    4 - cups water
1/4 - cup brown sugar. Dark or light, just depends how much molasses flavor you like.
1 - onion cut into 6 or 8 large chunks
    2 - limes juiced
1 - heaping table spoon Lawry's garlic salt
1 - heaping table spoon Bolners Fiesta fajita seasoning

Mix up and let chicken set in it about 24 hours, then off to the grill or smoker.

Here is a video of me going through making the brine.

Give it a try and let me know your thoughts.
