Lol, no h2o will be seen, a bit of kingfisher lager though will be the moistener. I can tell you I'm using the chook rubs with butter rubbed between flesh and the skin.

That was and is the plan, my kids made me open the bottle of sauce on Sunday, we all love the kick. Gators on a winner.
My granddaughter wanted to smell the chook rub but got some up her nose, what a performance, you'd think we had cut her throat.lol, was very funny.

Ok I've started my beer can sheeken , 1.3 kg bird. I happened to see a cooking programme this arvo on a beer can bird. I've picked from wife's garden fresh thyme and rosemary, I've mixed with chicken tickler and 1/4 pound butter. Rubbed between the skin and then a light dusting of tickler on the outside. Obligatory pose of the bird at attention. Stolen from another pic.

Cooking at about 250 f , your temperature or around 150c here. First coat of suckle busters BBQ chipotle sauce. This is the real shizzle. Just about to make a salad and oven fry sweet tatter chips.

Wife's home in an hour or so.
