Interesting
marinating meat in beer before putting it on the grill,
or in the smoker has health benefits

Yup, I do the reverse beer marinade frequently.

Cook you up some delicious meat, eat it while downing your favorite beverage. Reverse marinade!

Often do it for chicken. Sliced lemons, pilsner beer, and vinagerette dressing in sorta equal parts for 24 hours.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

fish in beer and mustard with some tabasco, for 1/2 hour or so...
I have heard from others that they soak a brisket in beer for a day or two prior to cooking, I just never could bring my self to waste that much beer... :salut:
