Homemade Chili Pepper Hot Sauce
Makes about 3 cups
6 jalapeño’s whole* or use Serrano's or both mixed
2½ c. distilled white vinegar
1 tsp. salt or to taste
1 tsp. sugar
Using a small pot add jalapeño’s ñ simmer till - 10 minutes.
Purée jalapeño’s with liquid ñ strain through a fine strainer.
Cool ñ cover in tight jar - chilled.
Notes~ sometimes I had little garlic or onion granular or both with the liquid when simmering. Can add little fresh lemon or lime juice fresh also.
Replace jalapeño ’s with serrano’s or mix them together
