Cayenne Pepper

I was wondering if anyone has ever used cayenne pepper in a meat injection to add a little heat. What are your thoughts?

I have heated up fresh cayanne peppers with my stock and let cool then inject into the meat. have not just put in ground pepper. Was o.k. just put to much in and was nice and hot.
