I saw this in a BBq magazine today and thought I would share. It looks kind of crazy with the raw egg in it. If anyone trys this out, let me know how it goes and what it looks like. Thanks
1 Large egg
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups cider vinegar
3 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1- Beat the egg well in medium size bowl. Whisk in all the remaining ingredients. Set aside about a cup of the sauce to use for basting chicken while it cooks.
2- Place washed and patted-dry chicken parts in shallow dish and cover with remaining sauce. Cover dish and refrigerate for 24 hours.
3- Grill chicken over charcoal fire, basting frequently.
The color on the chicken was really nice in the magazine, I'm interested in how this will turn out.

Mayo is mostly raw egg. Something else to worry about
BTW, any salmonella bacteria is on the outside of the shell, not inside. Wash those eggs boys!

Re: Cornell Chicken Marinade
Egg is whisked into ingredigents and CHILLED for 24 hours - IT IS OKAY. Done this many times with eggs before n than UR grilling or baking.
Pancake mix is mixed with raw eggs n keep cold also!
Sounds good will make -thanks for sharing!
