I've eaten at the one in Houston. It is amazing bbq. All very high quality meats. Just be prepared to drop 30-50 bucks per head. It ain't cheap.

It should be noted that Pappas has had a BBQ option on West NW Hwy. in Dallas for quite awhile now. I gave it a try ages ago and it was awful. Pappas though run things a little differently than most restaurants and have seemingly gotten dead serious about presenting really good BBQ and Fried Chicken.
I am in a Pappadeaux’s once a week buying their Seafood Jumbo Gumbo to Go (rice on the side) because it is the only place I can find that doesn’t appear to count the shrimp as it prepares a serving. You also get Oysters and Crab!
Pappas buys & trucks their own Seafood.

Will be dropping in today for a semi Friends & Family offering. My offer was half price menu and a Cash Bar , which I chose to start at the early offering time of 5:00 due to traffic. A Pappadeux Manager told me that they are smoking the same meats they use at Pappas Steakhouse and selling it $10-15 dollars cheaper a pound. Will report back soon!

Really looking forward to your review. This is close to my work. Wonder if they will have good happy hour specials? Or should I say, good enough to make me skip Chuy’s nacho car next door
