After scoring my firewood yesterday My Brother and I stopped just outside San Antonio in Adkins at Texas Pride BBQ. We both got the Brisket and sausage plate with two sides, I picked German style potato salad and green beans. The Brisket I picked and always do is the point or what they called Marbled. It was amazingly moist with a good bark, the sausage was even better. Loved the potato salad and green beans we’re alright.
Truth is I’ve been here before but my brother hadn’t so I had to bring em. He thought it was good too.

Wow, I love places like that. Thanks for sharing the pictures; not much of that left anymore. The food looks good also.

Re: Texas Pride BBQ
I live in San Antonio and Texas Pride is definitely in the rotation. The building and everything there make it part of the experience. There is just so much good bbq around this part of TX I haven’t been in a while. Will have to make a trip soon.
