When I am forced to go South that far I always stop at one of the Rudy's Country Store and BBQ - - - mostly the one in Spring off of I-45 North.
I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country—Victory or Death. William Barret Travis - Lt. Col. comdt "The Alamo"

Ok so I know this is a BBQ topic but I just can’t help myself...

If you haven’t tried the grilled quail at Goode Co. Taqueria you really need to. I’ve never been a huge fan of their BBQ but the quail is da bomb! My wife really loves the “redfish on the half shell” at Goode Co. Kitchen and Cantina (they also do quail but they are a bit more expensive).
