Our new favorite is the Pit Room in Houston. Great brisket, ribs and chicken. Mac and cheese were best we've had in a long time.

I just tried the BBQ Shack in Yoakum, TX off 77. Brisket was well cooked and i really liked the price. Y’all should try it when passing through.

Hard to choose just one, my overall favorite is Ferris Wheeler's in Dallas. I also love going to Heim in Ft. Worth, The Salt Lick in Driftwood, and a new one in Kennedale off 287, Red's Smokehouse. I do enjoy Hard Eight as well.
