I’ll give Roland Dickie credit, like Jerry Jones, he knows how to make money even if the product stinks.

Meh.... the bread stick recipe got changed a few years back and they're not nearly as good as they used to be.

Give me some Red Lobster biscuits any day...

Haven’t been in forever. Didn’t realize it got changed. Can I change my answer? :)

Agreed on Red Lobster biscuit. I’d make a meal out of those with a few beers. Nothing else on the menu worth going in for.

My Mother in Law made them from the box mix. They are dangerously good.

Only good thing about Dickies is the yellow cup for sweet tea. That is my lucky comp cup now. Lisa’s chicken is the bomb! One by my mom’s house in Fort Worth. Chicken express is good but every time I go there I am missing something when I get home. Joe Peschi said it right.. you get _____ at the drive thru!

Y’all got me wanting to try Lisa’s Chicken. Looks like they are all on the west side of the Metromess though. Maybe I’ll grab some before a Rangers game this summer.

I had lunch with my buddy there last week. All I had was the soup, salad, and bread sticks but it was enough to convince me to never go back. The bread sticks were like pretzels (but not in a good way) the soup was bland with these clumps of raw dough (supposed to be chicken gnocchi) and the salad was a mission to find anything other than lettuce. Only high point to the meal was the cheese and grinder at the table. I wish I could get one of those and some of that cheese.

here's something i've always wondered, do people that own bbq joints go around and taste their competition's food?

I do all the time. Particular mom and pop places. I tend to steer clear of chain shops like Dicky's. I come across places I like, places I don't, and places I frequent. Believe me; I am confident in my skills. Don't believe for a second though that I won't take some time away from slaving over that fire or stove for somebody else and let somebody else do it for me!!
