Great news for BBQ lovers in Frisco

Postby erbeman » Mon Feb 23, 2015 2:59 pm

My friends at Hutchins BBQ in Frisco are happy to announce that starting on March 20, they will now be open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 - 9:30. This is great news. Please come out and show your support for the best bbq in Frisco hands down and share this info with your friends. Don't forget Hutchins caters too. We used them for my birthday party awhile back and the food was the star of the party for sure.

These guys are awesome, and the food is of equal quality. I do wish they had fried fish like in McKinney (hey, try it! Theirs is good, especially for a BBQ place!), but the place only carries the same stuff they have on their catering menu, which is the typical BBQ fare, anyway. Tracy is the manager and he's a beyond stand-up guy. I support a lot of local military organizations in the area and in December I had an opportunity to provide lunch to a group of 23 homeless veterans who the NTXMA worked to worked to coordinate housing for, and collected six Ryder trucks full of furniture, kitchen and home goods, etc. Tracy split the costs with me and helped me to provide a feast to the veterans as well as the NTXMA, HCC and VA volunteers who came to move them all in and get them settled into their new life. I do stuff like this all the time, and it's the first time a place has worked with me to help me make sure there was a massive amount of food, etc, so after the lunch these vets could take the rest to their new digs.

These guys have my business for life, it's a local business I'm proud to support.

 Why go out for BBQ when you can make it better yourself
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

Because I don't always have 12 hours to cook a brisket that I'm only going to eat a quarter of. I also don't make my own sausage like they do that is amazing, or any of the sides or cobbler that they make. So, when I can drive 4 miles and have great bbq at a good price, support my friends and a local business that supports our community, I am more than happy to. The whole reason whey restaurants exist in the first place, convenience.

Yes, it's my old place...lol.

Yeah, that's one. It's light years ahead of the operation he was running, though. Ok, he probably wasn't running anything, but I know if I had my name attached to something I'd certainly make sure it was better than his was practically every time I was in there. Nonetheless, Hutchins has done a terrific job there.

Hutchins is really good for restaurant Q! Both locations are good but I prefer the Mckinney location for price. Same meal the wife and I order in Frisco is $10 higher than the same thing in Mckinney. But I guess ya gots to pay for the fancy decor somehow! :)

I haven't tried the Frisco location, but I like the McKinney location as it is just down the road from my house. That reminds me....I have a groupon coupon I need to cash in there.... :)
