Going back to Houston (family) for Thanksgiving...and plan to make a pit stop in Austin for two days.
I definitely want to taste what most of you are considering to be the best Brisket in all the lands.
And I think I will appreciate Franklins more if I go the traditional route of standing in line for three hours.
But tell me more about this "preordering" concept...sounds like the ticket.

Also, any other suggestions on where else I should indulge myself?
And I am not shy when it comes to TexMex.
Thanks...

Plan B now...no Austin trip :banghead:
More family coming into town then was expected...which means I have to spend time with... :angryfire:
Hmm..not sure what plan B will be?

Went to Killens last month. Definitely should be on anybodies BBQ crawl list. Beef rib is fantastic at about $20 each. Creamed corn is heaven. Brisket is good but not quite as good as Franklins. Ribs better than Franklins. Pulled pork better than Franklins.
