Riders BBQ, Jarrell TX

Postby nascarchuck » Fri May 17, 2013 5:27 pm

I saw the sign on I-35 so I decided to stop in as they are right behind the truck stop (Flying J) in Jarrell so I had a place to park.

They sell everything by the pound. I just tried the brisket and potato salad but was impressed. Brisket had a nice smoke ring and good flavor. The brisket is actually cooked on a smoker thats right outside the back window.

The potato salad was the white stuff with dill in it. They said that they make it there and it was pretty good. They gave me a sample of the beans and they were good.

The folks working there are as friendly as can be. I had a good meal as well as a good time visiting with the owners.
