I can also recommend Kenny's. Maybe not the best in the area, but very good and solid. Kenny is a real nice guy, gave me a tour of the kitchen as I accidentally walked in opening day and asked the usual question for those of here on the TBBQF: "So, what's yer smoker look like?".

He actually does beef ribs too, as I recall:

I probably should try Kenny's. two things keeping me away: 1 - that menu looks way to high toned for a bbq joint. 2 - I was way underwhelmed by Kenny's Burger Joint.

Tried Smokin' Racks for lunch today. Not bad at all. It's no Pecan Lodge but then again who in the area is? It's a good spot to get a bbq lunch. Definitely better than the chains in the area. Very nice service and pretty decent bbq. I will go back again when I'm in the area.

3 Stacks off of Preston is quite nice, Kennys is also quite good...

However Kenneys Burger joint is the best burger in town bar none!
