Kurzwiel’s Country Meats, Garden City MO

Lunch time hit right as we were coming into Garden City just south of KC MO. Stopped in to try Kurzwiel’s bbq. They are primarily a meat market with a restaurant on site. They also do smoked sausages and bratwurst. They had several brats to sample as well smoked pork chops. We go 4 packs of brats to take home including their “Hallow-weenies” a pumpkin flavored bratwurst.

The wife and I both had their brisket sandwich for lunch and agreed that it was tender and had a good hickory smoked flavor. The sides were good and the beans had hint of chili with big chucks of bacon.

So I would give them a thumbs up

I wish they were closer so I could try their maple cured bacon from their own pigs.
