Swinging Door, Richmond TX

My favorite local joint is the Swinging Door just outside Richmond, Tx. They use exclusively pecan and have the full variety of meats. Their portions are huge. Friday and Sat. nites they have a country band for dancing. If you're lucky you might see someone from ZZ Top there or one of the local pro athletes. It's just 4 miles from Texas Pits where I bought my smoker.

I forgot to post their website. If you ever get to Houston or Richmond try these folks out. They have been there sinc 1973 which says something about the quality of their Q.
