Howdy from Sargent, Texas

Postby Sharkchum » Thu May 28, 2020 9:46 pm

My names John, but most people know me by Sharkchum. I've been cooking BBQ competitions for about 25 years, along with chili and seafood cook offs. After all these years I'm still learning and I'm always looking for ways to improve. I'm always trying new recipe's, some get me 1st place trophies, while others are total failures, but you never know until you try. I do most of my competition cooking on UDS that I build myself, but I also use still burners, open top grills, and even fires built on the ground. One thing I've learned is that it's the Indian, not the arrow that makes the difference. I enjoy seeing how others cook and hope to learn some new tricks, but I also like to share the knowledge I've gained over the years. I look forward to sharing some of my cooks with y'all.
