I've been grilling since the early 60's, but I am relatively new to the world of slow cooking. A Masterbuilt electric was my first smoker, but it died this Spring. I then purchased a Dyna Glo offset stick burner. While it performs adequately (after modifications) it became evident that something more substantial would be required.
To that end, I have a Yoder Wichita, Fully Loaded, scheduled for an early September delivery. It was my research of that smoker, that enabled me to locate this forum.
I also cook on a 22" Weber kettle, and a Weber Genesis II grill.
I look forward to benefiting from the experience of forum posters, and offer a contribution once in awhile, too.
