I have had grills most of my life and ended up with a loaner pit for several years but it finally went home. Working at a metal yard I knew I would end up building something when my little guy below showed up. Great little starter after finding the forum I learned that it is going to need more work to make it the best it can be. I will be adding both a firebox and a smoking vertical stack and an axle. Ready to start adding new grates and exhaust. 1 step at a time as you all say.

Love the site and all the information. Ready to start burning metal. I have already straightened the exhaust and the back leg. Glad to be here

Welcome to TBBQF. There are many knowledgeable guys here that will be glad to answer your questions when yo begin your modifications.

There used to be some decent sausage in your area. i spent a few years during the 70's in the Cat Springs area.
