Hey all,

So the fiance got me an Outdoor Gourmet Pellet Smoker for Fathers Day and let just say it is getting some use.

I am prior Army, lived in Texas since 2004 (with a couple of year-long government paid vacations to the waterless beaches) and now live in San Antonio with my family. I work in commercial real estate, hunt and fish when I have the time and of course BBQ a few times a week if not more.

Looking to connect and learn what I can, did my first brisket 2 weeks ago and it wasn't horrible and trying my second one in the morning.

Welcome to the board, and thank you for your service again. :salut: :D

Good folks here, and you can learn alot. I have. There's some good posts about briskets too. Thanks to the folks here, my first brisket was a real success. Had ex Texans tell me it was the best they had since leaving Texas. Always room for improvement though.
